I usually try not to 'toot' my own horn for my chosen profession, but after the last month of struggling through Hayden's health....I want to celebrate all the nurses I work with & those who have cared for Hayden as well as my co-workers who make the OPS/PACU departments rock!
♥Being a nurse means-- immense responsibility w/ little authority. You step into people's lives & make a difference. Some bless you, some curse you. You see people at their worst & their best. You see life begin, end, & everything in between. You see a person's capacity for love, courage, & endurance. It's nurse appreciation week. I'm blessed to work w/ amazing people, wonderful nurses & consider all my friends. ♥
