I am coming back to address Hayden's neurological issues....
Basically, Hayden is back to status quo. He is feeding himself again, walking, verbalizing fine, & regaining those skills that he lost during the third week he was on the ketogenic diet.
Personally, I was going to push for one more week on the ketodiet.....but after Easter weekend, Tim & I knew that Hayden had to come off of the diet. We knew that he was crossing over that bridge that might not be good for him. We also knew that we could cross the keto diet off the list of things that we had & needed to try.
So we are back to looking for the puzzle pieces that will make Hayden whole. We are anxious to meet Hayden's new neurologist next week. We are eager to learn what the plan of attack will be. In the meanwhile, we are back to chasing our Monkey Boy. He is quicker than lightening & speedy; he has no fear nor concept of 'danger'. We appreciate all prayers for safety with Hayden...we feel sure that is the only thing that has kept him from seriously injuring himself & out of the ER in his short 5 years.
Et al....
I had to take to break from Jillian's SHRED....I strained my knee, boo-boo. I was on call over the weekend & wasn't able to do the exercises. I got back on the treadmill yesterday evening & was able to run some....I did the same today. Hopefully, tomorrow I can try the DVD---we'll see.
I started my 2nd 17 week session with Weight Watchers today. I've lost close to 39 pounds so far...during the next 17 weeks I want to lose another 25 to 30 pounds.
Shayla is doing SOL testing these next two weeks. Tim & I are definitely more stressed about the testing than she is, ugh! Just have to make it through the next 3 1/2 weeks.....lots of praying that we will make through the end of this year.
