Do you know how hard it is to take family pictures these days?!
Between Shayla who doesn't want a picture taken & Hayden who won't look at the camera....it is a hard task! But I have faith as we are hoping to have a photo session w/ one the local photographers that we enjoy working w/ this next week.
And a family picture when we are all together?! That is another feat in itself :)!!
Shayla showing some attitude at cheerleading class last week. The class went to competition this weekend but she wasn't interested in going....so we didn't make a big deal about, as long as she follows through & does the class. The competition wasn't mandatory anyhow. Now to find some classes/projects for her this summer to keep her VERY busy ;).
I am thinking about the kids birthmomma's tonight....I trust that they are each doing well, that they are each happy in their lives & that they know how much we appreciate their gifts to us.
I am also thinking about my friend tonight who lost her college friend very unexpectedly...the heartbreak that she feels, pain that her heart has, & how she wishes she had just one more time to spend a weekend w/ this best friend.
It is moments like this that make me appreciate what I have, the people in my live, the ones who love me & the loves that I love.
I know that I am very fortunate to be called momma & I thank 2 very special ladies who gave me the gifts to become momma.
