Blessings Times Two

Welcome to our little piece of the world. We are blessed with health, happiness, & families. We have been blessed twice by different birthfamilies. Each birthfamily was at a time in their life when they needed us & we needed them. We each have been able to bless the other. So this blog is primarily for our children's birthparents who blessed us with the most precious gift of being parents. Thank you for allowing us to be blessed with the precious gift of children.

Summer visit & fun

My sister & her family came for a visit always fun to see my cute neice & nephew. Shayla & Hayden had fun playing w/ their cousins too.

We had a Father's Day picnic...pool party & all. Hayden loved the water & my bother playing w/ him even more.

Tim & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary last Tuesday. We had a nice dinner out

Hayden had one of his therapy session's on Tuesday & he 'got how to do this shape sorter'....I was so excited for him!!

Shayla participated in VBS at church this past week......there was a horse that changed colors almost each day! Go figure that?! And on the last day of VBS there were camels, donkeys, & horses........it was a great God learning experience for her.

Hayden is going to see another therapist to help w/ his sensory isuses....we have to make some decisions about which way to go...early intervention, private therapy, preschool, etc.......it's so hard to know for sure which way to go, & which way will be the most benefical for Hayden. And a messy boy picture...it is hard to just let him 'learn to use a fork & spoon'....but I'm trying. So this was what happened the end result was yogurt in the hair, all over the shirt, his table & well, he went straight to the bath!

Oh, the deck is done! The fence is done! The railing for the deck will be ordered this week & then the assembly of the play yard can be started hopefully....I'm still hoping that is will all be done by Hayden's 2nd birthday in August. I can dream right?!
I'm off this week...nothing special just some time off which is a good/nice thing....lots of little projects to get done as well.
Blessings & thanks for reading (ya know comments are welcomed ;))
