We finally have Hayden's speech testing set up at the end of this month.
I have called the insurance company to get the specifics of coverage...which it is thank goodness.
But the end of the winter bug has hit our house. Hayden had the poopies & puckies for 24 hours. I came home early yesterday from work & took Hayden to the ped. Spent the evening holding him & trying to get some fluids in him. And as of this evening he still isn't back to par, but we are starting to get there.
Last night, Hayden was sitting in the floor waiting for me to finish getting ready for bed & he just laid himself out on the floor...he was going to sleep.
Anyhow it was a long/short night for Hayden & myself. We slept in the recliner for a couple of hours & then in bed. Got Shayla off to school & Hayden went back to sleep after just a couple of sips of juice. Since he was the same way all morning without an improvement, it was back to the visit the ped. Since a LONG afternoon nap, Hayden has drank juice, had a popsicle & a few Cheerios. He caved to sleep & out like a light...hoping & praying that he'll sleep all night.
Shayla has been having moments this week, if you have seen the CarMax commerical where the girl comes out & pitches a fit telling her dad that she wanted the blue car not the red one....well, Shayla fits right in there Drama Queen, is what she is!
She has ballet performance awards tomorrow, decided that she didn't want to participate on Monday....but we had many converstations able following through & completing what we start, so she WILL be doing the perfermance awards as well as the recital, :).
She didn't want to take her earrings out for the ballet event......that was such a drama moment, phew wee!!
Homework.....good grief, the girl doesn't want to do it! And reading...you would think that we were pulling individual hairs from her head!!!
Chores, that probably doesn't need any explaination but getting those accomplished it like having dental work done with out Novcaine!
We enjoyed some warmer weather the first of the week. The kids had fun being outside in the afternoons. But today we had SNOW!!!! We are all ready for spring...I am ready to clean out the flowerbeds, the garage, finish the deck, & teach Shayla how to ride her bike without training wheels.......weeeeeeeee!
Come on Spring!!!
