We've had a really good day. I spent a few hours at the Day Lily festival with a friend for her birthday. It was a real treat to spend some time alone with an adult. The weather was great & wine tasting was fun & an adventure.

This evening we were able to go out as a family to a real 'restaurant'...that is always an adventure & sometimes the stares are painful. But we stuck it out & had our supper. Let's just suffice it to say Hayden was just making lots of joyful noises!
After supper we ventured over to the playground for all kids but especially those with some sort of disability. Hayden did pretty good considering the rocky week he has endured....stinky seizure cycle, strained/sprained leg from outside play, & either the beginnings of a cold or an upper respiratory infection.
Hayden & Shayla enjoyed playing for a while then it was off for ice cream for Tim & Shayla...I was too full.
Now it's homeward bound....I'm tired, & Hayden should be. Tomorrow starts a week of call & the fun of running here & there, working, & celebrating my birthday...yippee!
