The sun was finally out Saturday...it was a glorious day. I was able to clean out the flower beds, that had been ignored at the end of last fall. We opened windows & let the crisp Shenandoah breeze flow through the house...it was great! Then today, Sunday, it has been cool/rainy/over cast...boo!
But spring is here...our trees are budding & there is green in my flower bed.
I continue to log my time & miles on the treadmill...working hard to continue to my weight loss journey, ugh!
We started the weekend with some lab work to ensure Hayden wasn't heading into Dilantin danger zone...Hayden had been so clumsy all week, falling, typical of Hayden actions when he gets overloaded on Dilantin...but much to our surprise—the level WAS FREAKING NORMAL! Hayden's neurologist & I spoke at length about this lab work, the results were a surprise & deciding what to do next was struggle....we will check in tomorrow (Monday) with the neurologist with a report of the weekend.
Hayden got to enjoy homemade pancakes, a trip to Chick-fil-a, & finished the box of fish sticks.
Shayla brought home a wonderful report card. We are so proud of her hard work the past 6weeks. Shayla has started soccer; we are proud of her for trying a new sport. This time should be different from when Shayla tried soccer when she was 3....it was pretty comical at that age.
I was able to write an article about Autism Awareness & our participation in the 5K walk for work. Part of me wants to call the local paper & say hello, you need to do an article on Autism during the first of April.
(so I was trying to post some pictures that were taken horizontal, & I have turned them the correct way...but Blogger is being strange & not letting me post the pictures turned the correct way, boo hoo!)
