Blessings Times Two

Welcome to our little piece of the world. We are blessed with health, happiness, & families. We have been blessed twice by different birthfamilies. Each birthfamily was at a time in their life when they needed us & we needed them. We each have been able to bless the other. So this blog is primarily for our children's birthparents who blessed us with the most precious gift of being parents. Thank you for allowing us to be blessed with the precious gift of children.

Been away for awhile....

It's been awhile since I last posted. As usual, life is just busy.
-Shayla is now a yellow belt in her karate program & learning several kata's (if that is how you spell it).
-She just wrapped up the 2nd grading session & continues to progress very nicely, which makes us very proud despite the chaos that often looms at our house.
-Shayla is participating in the Children's Christmas program at church in a few short weeks.
-She is making a list for Christmas & birthday wishes understanding that we (Mom & Dad) are focusing on family time this year & gift giving will be very scaled back---those are hard lessons sometimes to understand, but we keep working on that.
-Thankful that we are almost ready to celebrate our 8th Shayla Day...wow, were has time gone!?

Our Hayden.....
-School is going for Hayden....some weeks are better than others.
-Hayden is suppose to increase his time at school to almost a full day in another week.
-He remains without active seizures, thank the Lord since April & partial seizures gone since August.
-Hayden has made the rounds to his various doctors in the fall & has had some repeat visits before the end of the year.
-Hayden is a real Monkey Boy...he climbs everything, is into everything & some nights I wonder where the energy comes from it is like a new bottle of energy has been popped open at bedtime.
-We located a new pediatrician & feel good about the move there.

We are especially thankfully this season for health, & family. We hope that your day is filled with thankfullness.
xoxo, Amy
