having a child with epilepsy is challenging. adding other developmental challenges for our little man is double fold pheeeewwww! it has been a rough couple of weeks. hayden has has medication changes, days with multiple seizures, little sleep for all of us & tears cried by many while prayers have been lifted by others.
as of today hayden is doing much better with 2 medications gone.
we are working on regaining speech & motor skills the seizures stalled, now have a permenant OT appt for hayden & a team that is working to see that hayden will have the 'full court press' as the staff of the developmental ped visit seems to think that hayden needs.
we are working on taking hayden places that he hasn't been---like to the ymca child watch area while we exercise...it's a big step for us & hayden too. utilizing familiy & friends to help hayden with exercises/therapy. and we had to halt the wheat free/milk free diet while hayden was having the cluster of seizure activity---it was too stressful for us & him too...we'll try again soon.
