We've been busy this weekend....laundry, cooking, house work & going on a drive around to look at Christmas lights. It is hard to believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve-WOW...December is just zipping by so fast.
Tim has been cooking all day: chocolate pound cake, lemon bars, fudge, cookies....and it is all good!
All the gifts are wrapped & under the tree, Christmas morning breakfast is planned, & Christmas pj's are ready after an emergency run to JCPenny at 9:20 pm. Shayla had a pair of cute winter pj's thanks to Grammy, I washed them...the washing machine 'ate' the snowmen's faces off & well, Shayla was pretty upset. We were able to locate another pair of the same pj's & she has worn them every night for a week...so they need a bath right?! Well, this time I followed directions turned the shirt wrong side out, washed on cold, etc...same thing happened! I really think it is our front load high powered washer that did the damage. After a 5 minute discussion between Tim & myself I scooted to JCPenny. 2 praises there....
1-they were open past 9 pm
2-they had winter/Christmas pj's in her size.
Now we'll have to see what she says about them tomorrow night when we give them to her.
