Blessings Times Two

Welcome to our little piece of the world. We are blessed with health, happiness, & families. We have been blessed twice by different birthfamilies. Each birthfamily was at a time in their life when they needed us & we needed them. We each have been able to bless the other. So this blog is primarily for our children's birthparents who blessed us with the most precious gift of being parents. Thank you for allowing us to be blessed with the precious gift of children.

A Christmas fill in the blanks

1. My current favorite song is: Assortment of Christmas music...this is the best time of the year.

2. The last book I read was: it's sad, but I don't remember! Does a magazine count?

3. The last book I bought was: ditto above

4. The last cd I bought was: I haven't bought on in a long time since Tim has gotten hooked on iTunes

5. Another CD I wanted but didn’t buy is: hummm, don't really know...Tim is the music buff.

6. Right now, I’m wearing: a white tshirt w/ a days worth of tears & snot, thanks Hayden & active pants (fancy word for sweatpants)

7. The last gift I bought was: I'm not telling, it's Christmas time!

8. The last time I laughed heartily and loudly: at our church Children's celebration of Christmas

9. My favorite holiday ornament is: the yearly ornaments that w/ buy for the kids

10. My house smells like: lunch that Tim cooked...chicken pot pie soup

11. The first thing on my to-do list tomorrow is: a shower, Shayla to school, a haircut & some Christmas shopping

12. If I could sit on Santa’s lap and believe that he’d bring me whatever toy I wished for, I’d ask for: the top of the line SLR digital camera w/ all the extras...flash, lenses, memory cards, batteries

13. If I could holiday shop in ONE store, all expenses paid, I’d shop at: Amazon.com

14. If an angel alighted on my doorstep today and said, “I’m here to grant a Christmas wish,” I’d wish for: better financially resouces so I could go back to part time work or not have to work at all.

15. When I see a bell ringer while out shopping, I: give them loose change if I have it, walk on by if I don’t.
