Blessings Times Two

Welcome to our little piece of the world. We are blessed with health, happiness, & families. We have been blessed twice by different birthfamilies. Each birthfamily was at a time in their life when they needed us & we needed them. We each have been able to bless the other. So this blog is primarily for our children's birthparents who blessed us with the most precious gift of being parents. Thank you for allowing us to be blessed with the precious gift of children.

Halloween

So it's already November 2...opps, I missed posting the night of Halloween. It has been a crazy week for us. Hayden started not feeling well on Saturday October 28. He was running a temp & just not Hayden. Come Monday I took him to the doctor turns out he had an ear infection...started antibiotics. All the while he is not sleeping well, in fact he is sleeping on either Tim or myself. Ya know a 25# toddler sleeping on ya all night isn't exactly the mostly restly night of sleep.

For Halloween, Tim took Shayla around Grammy's neighborhood, until she got spooked....then it was back to Grammy's to help pass out the treats to others before trying the mall's trick-or-treat option. Next year we are going to try a local church's alternative 'Fall festival'. Hayden was tired & didn't feel good. It was a short night of t-or-t...& we weren't fussing about that.

Wednesday rolls around & the little man just isn't acting better. His tempature is gone, but not acting any better. So back to the doctor Hayden went. Turns out he has a virus called Herpangnia...basically, his throat is irritated & has a spot on his tongue, appettite is little, & just not our Hay-hay boy. Just takes time for the virus to 'run' it's course......we'll see how long this last......but I want my Little Boy Blue back!

Finally, today (Thursday) Hayden is on the mend...he is starting to act like himself, some of the time.
Shayla had a school program this evening...watch out world she is going to be a performer for sure ;).
We are all looking forward to Friday, just relaxing at home & no plans.
Oh, the deck is coming along...we are getting excited to have it covered & will be able to make use of it to some extend even now, yippee!
Blessings, Amy
